building Climate resilience for older people

The Dublin Climate Action Regional Office (CARO) in partnership with the BOLD Climate Action group would like to invite you to an upcoming event to discuss the needs of older people during extreme weather events.  The in-person workshop will take place on 13th November at the Wood Quay Venue, Dublin City Council, Dublin 8 from 11am to 2pm. The workshop poster is attached and you can register for the event through this link.  We would be delighted if some representatives from your organisation could attend and provide their input.

Background

The CARO supports local authorities and their communities on climate action and the BOLD Climate Action group was set up by older people who are very concerned about the climate crisis.  We believe that older people are being increasingly impacted by the effects of climate change and extreme weather events such as storms, floods and heatwaves.
