The individuals below have set themselves a goal and decided to raise funds for people living with COPD at the same time!
Best of luck with your efforts. Here’s a little bit about what’s happening:

My name is Gerry Browne and I have witnessed firsthand what it is like to live with COPD, a devastating degenerative lung disease. My Dad suffered with it for over 15 years, gradually losing his capacity to breathe with every lung infection, ultimately resulting in his death.
This October I intend to trek to Everest Base Camp and climb Island Peak (Imja Tse) at a summit of 6165 meters. I want to raise funds for COPD as part of my trek.

Ironically, I may find breathing difficult at these heights. However, this would be resolved quickly by simply dropping altitude, unlike the many that find breathing difficult every day with COPD.

I am a practicing accountant, married and residing in Dublin. I would welcome your support.
